Say hello to your potential consultant, each a master of their respective craft.

Dennis remains an active member of the Society of Biology and has previously run a very successful project together with his colleague, Dr Ray Mathias which was funded by the SOB in 2014 and involved working with two schools which studied the wildlife in and around the schools’ environs by night and day and in two different seasons, those being Summer and Autumn. He also conducts Professional Reviews of Candidates wanting transfer between grades for CIWEM and he is a Mentor for IOW.
During his career with Consultme 4 EBM Ltd, Dennis has undertaken various projects which include training and workplace assessments in the majority of the large Water and Waste Water companies which include Thames Water, Northumbrian Water, Yorkshire Water and Scottish Water to name but a few and he has also delivered various training packages into some multinational companies to which include General Motors, Environmental Divisions at Elsmere Port and Rank Hovis McDougall.
Dennis holds relevant qualifications for training and workplace assessments and updated these to the latest version in 2011 in the form of a City & Guilds L3 QCF Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement and he was a Finalist in the Business Skills Award for the Water Industry in 2012 for Continuing Professional Development.
Dennis is a supporter of the concept of lifelong learning hence his voluntary involvement with Professional Review work for CIWEM and Mentoring activities for IOW and following the two very successful SOB funded projects with local schools, he was invited to become a Foundation Governor at St Andrews School CofE VA Primary School at North Pickenham in the early part of 2015 which he has accepted.
Dennis now joins the experienced team of Water Industry professionals at Watertrain to deliver the L4 Diploma in Water Industry Operations and Management and looks forward to working with our clients to deliver this excellent qualification.

➢ Excellent operational process designer and implementer, especially in risk control procedures
➢ Senior Manager with team leader skills, ensuring effective and efficient performance
➢ Excellent communicator, both written and oral with highly developed presentation skills
➢ Commercial awareness, with ability to balance risk and reward

After leaving TW, I spent 25 years with Anglian Water working from Basildon, Chelmsford and Colchester in various roles including:- Wastewater Treatment & Networks Superintendent
As a Wastewater Process Scientist I spent more than 20 years providing technical assistance, troubleshooting advice and training in all aspects of wastewater treatment both ``on the job`` and in the training classroom to local operational and networks managers and their teams in the Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire areas. I was responsible for the administration & statistical manipulation of both regulatory compliance information and internal monitoring data and presenting that data in a meaningful format that could be understood by the teams of Works Technicians. I was also part of many Engineering projects involving both Major and Minor Capital Investment where the treatment process required improvement for either Regulatory purposes or to make the treatment processes more reliable and capable of maintaining compliance with the existing or new legal standards, or in some cases both. I was also heavily involved with capital improvements and conducting Risk Assessments on Waste Water recycling sites concerning the requirements of Water bylaws, back syphonage and protecting our employees and visitors against the potential to become ill due to Legionella.
Throughout my career, I have always had the ability to interact well with a variety of people, from ``blue collar`` workers to senior managers in an empathetic manner, taking their experience and background into account, this has allowed me to gain their confidence and trust in my ability to help them as and when needed.
In 2009 & 2011 I volunteered together with an AW Wastewater Treatment Manager to travel to South Africa and provide on-site operational and scientific advice to various local government districts on a number of Sewage Treatment Works which had process issues in the Johannesburg & Cape Town areas. I have also been a parent governor at our local school for 4 years and my Wife was a teacher in a state school which has given me an insight to lesson planning and the ‘learning processes’.
I have known and worked with and for Dennis Doman since 1989 for a number of years in Anglian Water including as a member of the same self-managed operational management team and look forward to working with Dennis again as an Associate of the Consultme 4 EBM team.
